There's no doubt that Bearfaced Records is a no-budget operation (we're extremely envious of people lucky enough to have shoestrings...) but that doesn't mean that we'll sound like a budget label. We promise to give every recording all the care and attention it deserves, and on no occasion will we sacrifice audio quality for the sake of loudness.
Just because all the singles you'll find on the racks in Woolworths are gated and limited to within an inch of their lives doesn't mean ours have to be; we like our music to sound as great as it possibly can. Our releases may be slightly quieter than those of our commercial peers, but that's because you're getting all of the waveform, and therefore all of the music.
