Well it's finally here: One Guitar and a Whole Lot of Whining; the first ever full release from Eaten by Monsters.
Admitedly it's only an acoustic EP, which has of late begun to look like a pretty tired format, but this one has been made with the best of intentions, I assure you.

First of all, the fact that I'm giving it away doesn't mean it has no value. Other bands freebies might be mucky little things made in Garageband using the nasty mics built into the computer, but Eaten by Monsters take pride in their work. Every effort has been made to preserve the fidelity and cleaness of the sound, and I'm pleased to anounce that the quality of the recording is pretty darned high. And the artwork looks super-cool too; even more so if you get the phisical copy (avaliable to buy on the website for £3 to cover the costs of manufacture and postage).
On the EP are six songs from my current "set"; two that'll probably be on the full album, two that are works in progress, and two that just needed to be given one last night out before they're laid to rest...
With regard to how you can get'a hold of this new hot property: go check out the Eaten by Monsters page on the Bearfaced website. Here you can buy the physical copy (with sexy cardboard cover and sexy, sexy artwork, along with top quality sexy, sexy, sexy audio) through our Google Checkout acount, and you can also find the bit torent for the EP. We realised we were trully children of the digital age when we found ourselves talking about torents as if they were a legitimate release format, and now it actually is! Go forth, spread the love, and copy and disseminate as you see fit - it's all totally legal.
One Guitar... is essentially an attempt to clear the water before work begins on our first "proper" album; it was all captured in one take - just the guitar, the songs, and me. The whole thing took just a little longer to record than it does to listen too. When the "real" album comes out it'll feature the whole band, and will represent the full Eaten by Monsters sound, but until then keep yourselves happy with this tasty giveaway...
All the best,
Tom from Eaten by Monsters.
