Eaten
by Monsters are an indie folk band with pretensions to being
literate and intellectual. As a particularly raucous guitar/voice and
drums two-piece they eschew the use of most other instruments, particularly
the dreaded bass.
That said, for their new EP Scaring the Pets they
mixed things up with strings and trumpets and stuff, giving the whole
project a patina of grandeur not normally associated with
singer-songwriter projects.
